Richard A. Gilbert

Richard A. Gilbert is a partner at Levine & Gilbert with over 30 years of litigation experience concentrating his practice in the area of plaintiff’s personal injury. Mr. Gilbert has teamed with Mr. Levine to secure numerous multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements and greatly expand the rights of municipal employees to secure substantial damage awards for injuries sustained on the job. Mr. Gilbert is a passionate advocate whose 24/7 availability and responsiveness to clients’ concerns has engendered an appreciation for his tireless efforts on behalf of clients and their families. This devotion has resulted in strong and lasting relationships with clients and their families that go far beyond the conclusion of a particular piece of litigation. Mr. Gilbert has successfully litigated to verdict or settlement cases in a variety of areas including Motor Vehicle, Premises, Municipal Liability, Construction/Labor Law, False Arrest, Wrongful Death and Medical Malpractice. In addition to his trial work, Mr. Gilbert’s accomplishments include successfully arguing cases before Appellate Division panels in the First and Second Departments of New York State. Cardozo School of Law.
